A heavy shower at the Emilia Romagna GP has caught everyone out with the drivers struggling on the way to the grid in Imola. The teams and drivers expected a dry race but a passing showed has made the first half of the lap very wet. Fernando Alonso was the first victim of the rain, breaking his front wing at the turn seven hairpin. He managed to get back to the pitlane and is set to start the race with no issues. Both Aston Martin drivers' brakes caught fire with the team opting to replace the burnt material on Sebastian Vettel and Lance Stroll's brakes.
