The Movement Advancement Project MAP is a think tank working to speed equality and opportunity for all through policy research and analysis. MAP works collaboratively with LGBTQ organizations, advocates, and funders, providing them with tools, research, and resources to help strengthen their efforts.
MAP also provides information and analysis about the health and capacity of the LGBTQ movement, helping these audiences more strategically apply and coordinate resources for maximum impact. We are interested in helping a potential intern research a topic they are interested in.
A successful candidate will be self-motivated and well-organized. Previous experience with public policy or LGBTQ advocacy is not necessary, but such interests would be helpful. MAP staff are remote.
