This is definitely a movie to come into completely blind. I've never seen Treat so scuzzy, it's such a different look for him. Joyce Chopra crafts a hazy, mysterious atmosphere with a wild tonal shift. Her direction is pristine and leads this film right smack up to the ending, and, goddamn, what an ending! If there are any other Treat performances in a similar vein, please let me know! It's time to flip this on it's head and do a Treat double feature with Deep Rising. Talk about opposites!
