Browning and small tears to left margin of typed presentation note on publisher's letterhead, laid in. Bound in full burgundy cloth over boards, with upper board and spine lettered in gilt. Mild wear to binding, with some scattered rubbing to cloth, gentle bumping to extremities, small tears to head and tail of sunned spine, and slight lean to spine.
Previous owner's name to front free endpaper. Tear to paper covering front inner hinge, and hinges a touch tender.
