He is completely lost and has no memories from his past. The Glade is inside a huge maze that he, and others must solve. There are also horrific creatures that come out at night The Maze Runner Film Analysis try to kill all the people in the Glade. While Thomas is getting used to this new setting, he realizes he recognizes the Glade - in fact he helped create it.
With this sudden burst of information from the back of his head he tells everyone he knows a way out from the maze. Some are hesitant while others immediately join him as they try to fight their way out of this dystopian society. At points I did have to power read when the author was setting up the scene, or when the story moved slow. There were a lot of moments in this story where hope was created, and lost, but it makes the story more realistic.

The movie is great to watch if you read the book. Outside the Glade is a ginormous maze that they have to solve. They must solve the maze while surviving the creatures that the Creators have placed in the maze. Every month, the Creators send another boy up. He cannot remember anything but his name. He soon finds himself surrounded by a bunch of boys. The boys are surrounded and trapped by tall stone walls that construct a maze.

No one has ever escaped the maze alive. Soon after Thomas spends some time with the other boys, the first girl arrives to deliver a message: "Remember.
Will they be able to do it? This book was very entertaining because of the unique Flm of the story. How the boys are affected by the scary message spikes their adrenaline and forces them to think hard about how they can leave the maze, adding to the plot of the story. The interactions between the boys add to how entertaining the book was, making it a great read.]
