Then, it is considered how the logic of modemity is demonsfiated through the Olympic Games. The next section provides the critical reading of commercialised and rationalised Olympic Games with reference to the global culture industry.
After this, the author critically evaluates the fundamental principles of the Olympism. This chapter finally concludes that the degenerative effect of the dialectic of enlightenment becomes more evident in the Olympic Games in the late modern global society.
