VRET merupakan metode terapi virtual yang bekerja dengan cara merubah persepsi seseorang dengan cara diberikan stimulus melalui simulasi virtual. Penelitian ini menggunakan 3 buah skenario simulasi bertema business life yaitu job interview, business lunch dan team meeting.
Responden melakukan simulasi pada 1 skenario yang memiliki 3 buah variasi. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan diolah menggunakan metode statistik Repeated Measures ANOVA untuk mengetahui perubahan kondisi responden sebelum dan sesudah melakukan simulasi dan regresi linear untuk menguji hasil kuisioner SSQ dan menghindari adanya bias perubahan variabel yang disebabkan oleh cyber sickness. To overcome these problems, usually someone who had SAD will do a treatment by doing psychotherapy called cognitive behavioural therapy, but these treatment is not that flexible.
In this study, an analysis were conducted to analyse the use of virtual reality exposure therapy VRET as an alternative method for treating SAD. The result of the simulation were processed using 2 statistical method which are; Repeated Measures ANOVA to determine if there are any changes between the condition of before simulation and after simulation and linear regression to identify if the result of the study is affected by cyber sickness.
